In a recent episode of the FLAGRANT podcast with Andrew Schulz and Aakash Singh, Joe Rogan‘s old friend, and UFC legend revealed the times when Rogan had just started working with the UFC.

In 1997, Joe Rogan started working as a backstage and post-fight interviewer for the UFC. The first event he went to was the UFC 12 Judgement day in Alabama. From the newest revelations, fans have learned how Rogan was not even being paid when he first started with the promotion.

While talking on The YouTube show Flagrant, UFC legend and podcaster Chael Sonnen revealed the details of how a hardworking Rogan worked despite compromising on his sleep. Remembering the UFC commentator’s old days, Sonnen said, “He worked super hard. He was doing the UFC for free, yeah; they couldn’t pay any but told him that he was coming along and Rogan helped a lot, like the man’s show was a big deal. He’d wear sweatshirts, that was a huge deal, that was all the media you could.”

Apart from being a celebrated UFC commentator and successful podcaster, Joe Rogan is now vested in a new Venture. He recently started a comedy club in Austin, Texas. The comedy club is shaped like an alien spaceship. It is deemed as an anti-cancel culture and anti-woke club.
