Joe Rogan wasn’t always the best at his job. Today, he is arguably one of the most recognized UFC personalities known for his hosting and commentating roles. However, there was one instance when Rogan had an embarrassing moment while hosting a UFC on FOX show. The video was recently shared on Instagram and fans were livid!

UFC signed a broadcast deal with FOX TV in 2011. Rogan was appointed to be the anchor during the announcement of the deal. Unfortunately, things didn’t turn out the way everyone expected, as Joe Rogan made some major errors.

Joe Rogan slips up live on TV

It was clear that Joe Rogan wasn’t having the best of days, as he made some glaring mistakes while delivering his initial monologue on the show.

During his live television broadcast, Joe Rogan announced the new broadcast home for the UFC. Also, while announcing the executives in attendance, he broke down each fighter’s accomplishments. However, he made some major botches during the show as Dana White and a few fighters like Georges St-Pierre and Frankie Edgar were left displeased.

He happened to switch Edgar and St-Pierre’s names while introducing them, and this resulted in some awkwardness. FOX never invited him back to their studios ever again.

The fans were amused to see Joe Rogan’s rare slip-up. They claimed that this is how employees act on the first day of their jobs. Some fans noticed the face he made at the end when he knew he messed up. However, some fans claimed that it wasn’t Joe Rogan’s fault, but instead a boring TV show.

Rogan’s UFC on FOX slip-up didn’t really hurt his career. He went on to become a top commentator for Dana White’s promotion and also created a successful podcasting empire. He is still one of the most prominent members of the UFC’s broadcasting team.
