So what is Joe Rogan’s take on mental illness management and exercise?

Exercise helps the body stay in a state where people do not get drowned of energy quicker than they like. This has been established already. Different kinds of exercises aim to help heal different bodily ailments. However, people are affected mentally more than physically if they choose to work out. The same study Joe Rogan was talking about also states that if we can keep moving and stay active, there is hardly a chance that we’ll ever walk under a cloud of depression and even avoid medication.

“As a new study shows physical activity is 1.5 times more effective than counseling or the leading medications,” Joe Rogan added. Even the 56-year-old longtime UFC commentator also believes that inactivity is a key component for much of all mental health issues. The fact that Rogan’s in his late 50s and still looks not only jacked but also has a positive attitude is a testament to how much importance he, just like Michael Chandler, gives to working out on the regular.
