One such moment came into existence during an episode in ‘The MMA Show’, when his guest, Belal Muhammad, turned to talk about Derrick Lewis. Without a doubt, the UFC color commentator was blown away as the welterweight fighter recalled the moment when the ‘Black Beast’ defeated Curtis Blaydes with a mean uppercut. Although the JRE podcaster was perplexed by the remembrance, the way the fighter now looks was an even greater astonishment for both the guest and the podcaster. The 55-year-old podcaster didn’t back down from talking about Blaydes. He was overwhelmed by the heavyweight contender’s skills in wrestling. Furthermore, the commentator believed that the ‘Razor’ was very close to victory every time he lost. Without a doubt, Muhammad had to affirm Rogan’s words. He recalled that Blaydes was only defeated by the likes of Francis Ngannou and Lewis.

Muhammad said on the podcast, “He [Curtis Blaydes] has been so close every single time. You get to level with, all it takes is one punch. He’s only lost to like Francis, then that ‘Black Beast’ uppercut. Other than that, he’s been one of the dominant heavyweights out there.” Undeniably, the former television presenter had his eyes bulging in amazement as the JRE guest talked about the iconic uppercut. “That Black Beast uppercut was crazy! Derrick can just put the lights out,” exclaimed Rogan.

Of course, no topic about the ‘Black Beast’ can steer away from his new looks. Muhammad asked Rogan if he had seen the warrior looking like a welterweight. He asked, “Have you seen him looking like 170, lately?” The podcaster was greatly amazed by it. Finally, Rogan said, “But it looks like he’s taking it real serious and decided to get in real good shape.”

Recently, Terrence McKinney shared a video on Twitter that shook the entire MMA world. The video showed Lewis looking shredded and light. McKinney wrote, “Derrick Lewis looks like he’s ready for welterweight.”
