Joe Rogan struck gold with his podcast venture when he signed a deal with Spotify in 2020. Initial reports stated that the longtime UFC commentator struck a deal worth approximately $100 million. However, later reports suggested that the actual figure was much higher than anticipated, being close to $200 million. These exact figures have nevertheless remained confidential to the public.
Meanwhile, Rogan’s work on the podcast, especially after the Spotify deal, catapulted him into a global superstar. The 55-year-old has topped Spotify’s leading podcast list twice since joining the platform. Rogan and Spotify have clearly benefitted from each other. Nevertheless, the exact figure behind their deal remained unknown, until recently.

Following are some of their reactions:
- i’m pretty sure Bert and Tom Segura leaked Joe got paid off at more than the $100-200m that was reported in the press soon after it was announced the lesson here; never tell a standup comedian a “secret” they’re all chatty pattys
- Bert is a narcissist and he obviously just spilled the beans to look cool. What a loser. Should have edited it out.
- I dont wanna sound like im talking sh*t about Joe, but… (proceeds to talk sh*t about Joe)… Cue the Larry David Outro Music.
- I’m sick of Bert. I want him to disappear for a few years and come back a little less fat and stupid. Just a little.
- Can’t believe I used to listen to these clowns back in the day
- If you believe anything Bert says to be accurate and truthful then you need to do something. I don’t know what it is but Bert exaggerates…a lot
- You know joe is p*ssed about this.
While the conversation around the true value behind Rogan’s Spotify deal rages on, it only becomes clearer and clearer that the BJJ black belt really made a fortune. With time, the size of that fortune only seems to be increasing.
