Ferguson pointed out ahead of his Michael Chandler bout how Dustin Poirier‘s ground game against Charles Oliveira was worse than his.

“When Joe Rogan was talking, it looked like I don’t know what the f*** I was doing. I was more active on the bottom than Dustin Poirier. And I don’t hear one f***ing word,” said Ferguson.

Joe Rogan has previously talked about Tony Ferguson in high regard. Chiefly, for his inhumane cardiovascular system. Also, Ferguson’s jiujitsu coach Eddie Bravo is a common friend of the two. Hence, the rift between Ferguson and Rogan appeared out of nowhere.

Recently, Tony Ferguson shared a picture with the famous Joe Rogan kettlebell on his Instagram stories. ‘El Cucuy’ had it captioned, “They Ain’t Gonna Lift Themselves Unless You Help – CSO. Write That Down.”

Interestingly, Rogan shared Ferguson’s story on his Instagram as well. Rogan noted nothing in his story.

It’s very fascinating if anything transpired behind the scenes. Since Ferguson lost via a vicious blow at UFC 274, Rogan and Ferguson didn’t get to have the conversation inside the Octagon. However, Rogan perhaps talked to Ferguson behind the stage, as he did with Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson back in the days at UFC 144.

Anyhow, if this rift results in a Tony Ferguson appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, fans would celebrate this collaboration.

Also, Rogan talked about the highly circulated meme of Ferguson’s opponents’ faces and said, ‘they all f***ed up like, they all fell off a train.”

However, Ferguson’s lackluster performance against Charles Oliveira had Rogan going the opposite route. But in hindsight, it appears Ferguson was the toughest fight that Oliveira had where he had to see the judges’ decision.
