However, Cormier was even more impressed by what Laura Sanko has added to the equation with her becoming a replacement for Joe Rogan at UFC Fight Night events. Cormier acknowledged the diligence of his colleagues, emphasizing Sanko’s commitment to thoroughly studying multiple fights compared to others.

He revealed, “I think Laura is honestly one of the hardest working people, because at times, all of us, we go to the fight and you might know this guy so well that I’m going to watch one of his fights before he fights because I know what this guy does. Laura will watch three or four.”

He specifically commended Sanko along with Megan Olivi and Jon Anik, emphasizing their unmatched level of preparation. According to Cormier, “I’ve never seen people prepare at the level of those three. For Laura to do what she’s been doing from UFC quick hits to the Contender Series and now calling fights, it’s been tremendous.”

In Cormier’s view, the UFC is fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated group of analysts, commentators, and broadcasters. Sanko’s continuous contributions to the broadcast team have not gone unnoticed, and her work ethic has set her apart, making her a valuable asset to the UFC.

But while Sanko drew praise from Cormier, he recently revealed that he is not pleased with how Michael Chandler has handled his much speculated upon bout with Conor McGregor!

Michael Chandler criticized for ‘desperate’ actions by Cormier

In the realm of potential matchups, former two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier claimed that Michael Chandler is taking the wrong approach in seeking a bout with Conor McGregor.

Cormier, in a YouTube video, expressed his views on the ongoing McGregor-Chandler saga. While Chandler eagerly awaits the matchup, Cormier perceives a hint of desperation in his pursuit, contributing to McGregor’s dismissive stance.

He stated, “Mike has been constantly chasing Conor. It is to the point now where — I don’t like saying this, because Chandler’s one of my buddies — it’s almost desperate to fight Conor McGregor.”

Chandler, who hasn’t competed since November 2022, is willing to wait for the McGregor clash. However, Cormier believes Chandler’s continual acceptance of McGregor’s behavior gives the Irishman the upper hand.
