Jon Jones Claps Back With a Three-Word Message for Tom Aspinall as Englishman Lays Out Plans for Ciryl Gane and UFC Champ After Highlight Reel KO at London

Tom Aspinall is currently basking in the glow of his spectacular victory against Marcin Tybura. Aspinall and Tybura locked horns at UFC Fight Night 224 in London. However, within 1 minute and 13 seconds into the first round, the British Fighter knocked out his opponent. Soon after the bout, he detailed his future plan in the UFC, and it’s nothing but to defeat the UFC heavyweight champion, Jon Jones. Aspinall mentioned that he is going to be present in Paris to watch the clash between Ciryl Gane and Sergey Spivak, and then he wants to fight the winner between the two. If he manages to win the bout, the 30-year-old might get Jon Jones next.

Jones is getting ready to fight the former UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic, at UFC 295 at Madison Square Garden, New York. After listening to Aspinall’s plan, Jones and Gane reacted in no time. While Jones chose to take the call out in a lighthearted manner, Gane chose to warn the surging heavyweight about what he was wishing for.

 After Tom Aspinall’s callout, Jon Jones took his to his Twitter handle and wrote a three-word message, Sounds good lol.” ‘Bon Gamin’ also ensured he responded to Aspinall’s call out. Gane tweeted, “Great performance Tom, careful what you wish for. See you in Paris.“While Tom Aspinall was talking in the post-fight press conference of UFC Fight Night 224, he showed his excitement about the recent victory. He was also extremely happy that Jon Jones knew that he existed, and he considers that a huge win. He further mentioned that it is his dream to fight the best fighter in the division, and for the same reason, he aims to win all future bouts.

The British fighter further added why he is a great opponent for Jones. He said, “I can do everything well. I’m fast, I’m strong, I’m heavy, which is unlike a lot of his opponents who he’s [Jon Jones] fought in the past. I just think I bring something different to him, and I think he knows that as well.

What do you think about the above statement? Both Gane and Jones seem to be tough opponents for Aspinall. ‘Bones’ came back to the UFC to defeat Gane in the first round at UFC 285. Jones’ performance proved that no ring rust can weaken his dominance inside the octagon. On the other hand, Gane disappointed the fight fans by tapping out of the bout in the very first round.
