According to Jones, the delay in his UFC return as a heavyweight “had nothing to do with money or being upset with UFC or anything like that”. “It’s just that I just wanted to be at my best when I did come back. I feel like I was ready to go about a year ago, we needed to figure out opponents,” Jones said.
