Reports suggest that the 36-year-old threatened to kill her and even snatched her phone away. The incident took place in Albuquerque and the local police investigated the matter. It is now believed that Jones might just get arrested after the investigation.

Why did Jon Jones threatened a female drug testing official?

Reports suggest that ‘Bones’ got angry about the sample collection process which happened at his house. The matter escalated after the heavyweight champion took away her phone. He even went close to her face and threatened her. Crystal Martinez made a surprise entry at his house on March 30 along with her colleague Jerome Romero. The officers arrived for a surprise drug test which caught the champion off guard. However, the officers claim that ‘Bones’ was offended at the timing of the test.

Jones took to his Instagram account to share a lengthy statement regarding the unprofessional attitude of the agents. However, he also claimed that the anti-doping officers left his property on a good note and exchanged high fives and hugs. This was not the first time his controversy involved a female.
