Jon Jones Guarantees ‘At Least Two More Fights’ in the UFC

The former light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, has finally turned towards fighting in the heavyweight category. Without a doubt, the entire mixed martial arts universe deeply anticipated Jones’ return to the UFC. Although people wanted to see him face Francis Ngannou, the latter has been removed from the UFC. But Jones has two more men in his mind to fight against. ‘Bones’, in a recent interview with ‘MMA Underground’s’ John Morgan, revealed his intentions and immediate goals. Furthermore, he promised the fight fans that he won’t be seen in just one match. The MMA world is in for action from the fighter. Undeniably, the recent revelations of the former champion’s intentions have ignited a fire in the fans’ hearts.

Jones has teased the fans about his return to the UFC as a heavyweight fighter. Furthermore, he made his intentions to become the heavyweight champion in 2023 pretty clear on social media platforms.

The former UFC champion was recently interviewed by Morgan. Without a doubt, one of the questions the journalist asked revolved around the hottest topics in the UFC heavyweight fights. He asked about Jones’ immediate goals. He pointed out that ‘Bones’ was now 35 years old. The journalist wanted to know whether the fighter would only fight one bout and then quit altogether or if there was something else waiting for the fans.

Morgan asked, “What do you see going from? I know you just said ‘hey, I’m not looking past Ciryl one bit’, but as you envisioned kind of this next stage of your career.”

‘Bones’ replied that his immediate focus was on defeating Ciryl Gane and then Stipe Miocic. Furthermore, he promised the fans that he wasn’t in for just one fight. He said, “My immediate goal is to beat Ciryl Gane, and, uh, and Stipe Miocic. After that, it would just be conversations with the UFC to see what makes sense. But, I’m guaranteeing, I’m guaranteeing the fans at least two more fights out of me.”

‘Bones’ made it crystal clear that he wanted to become the champion in 2023. He took to Twitter and declared the same. However, the fans seemingly refused to believe his return as a heavyweight fighter. But later Gane issued a challenge to the former champion.
