UFC lightweight fighter Conor McGregor is one of the most famous Mixed Martial Artists on the planet. The UFC superstar has been a key factor in the growth of the UFC. However, with all that fame, there is also hate that the fighter receives.

Recently, a survey named McGregor the most hated fighter in the world, whereas it named his UFC colleague Israel Adesanya the most-loved fighter.

Fans know Conor McGregor for his trash-talking ability. Over the years, McGregor has displayed his skills on the mic and sometimes has even received hate for it. According to an article, McGregor is the fighter who receives the most negative comments on his social media. It is also notable that famously disliked fighters such as Jon Jones and Colby Covington rank low in this list.

However, ‘The Notorious’ is also present in the list of the m0st beloved fighter. McGregor ranks third in the list, whereas his fellow UFC fighter, Israel Adesanya, ranks first.

According to a study of posts on Twitter and Reddit, McGregor receives 29,31% of negative feedback. On the other hand, the Irish superstar also receives 44.6% positive comments which rank him third on the list of the most loved fighters.

The only two fighters who are ahead of McGregor on the list of the most loved fighters are Israel Adesanya and Brandon Moreno, with 54.7% and 51.6% positive comments, respectively.

Both McGregor and Adesanya are two of the biggest names in the UFC. Also, Conor McGregor, who has been in the UFC longer than Adesanya, is very appreciative of the latter.

Conor McGregor hails Israel Adesanya

Since his debut in the UFC, Israel Adesanya became the UFC middleweight champ and has earned a lot of praise. While fans and pundits hold Adesanya in high regard, the middleweight fighter has also earned a fan in Conor McGregor.

Before Adesanya’s fight at UFC 271, McGregor took out the time to praise Adesanya. In a post, McGregor said, “Can’t wait to see Izzy Style back in the Octagon this weekend, Don’t just fight, perform!”

Israel Adesanya responded to this at the UFC 271 media scrum. Adesanya said, “Whether you like him or not, he f*cking raised the bar for everyone. I look to do the same before I’m done with this game!”

It is good to see two fighters in different weight classes be so appreciative of each other. Also, it is important to note both Conor McGregor and Israel Adesanya have the same management team.
