Jon Jones is nearing his first heavyweight title defense at UFC 295. As CEO Dana White announced, ‘Bones’ will take on none other than the former two-time champion, Stipe Miocic. However, Jones recently trained with 5-time ADCC champion Gordon Ryan, which has led him to believe that he will defeat Miocic via submission.
Gordon Ryan is no stranger to submission, given that he is the best No Gi grappler in the world. After going through a serious illness, he recently made a triumphant return at WNO 20. As such, he also took some time to train with Jon Jones, who seemed ecstatic after catching up with ‘The King’.

Ciryl Gane is more of a striker than a wrestler, which cost him the chance to become a champion at UFC 285. However, the same cannot be said for Stipe Miocic. The former two-time champion has wrestled more than he’s boxed. As such, he is one of the most complete fighters in the history of the UFC. We will have to wait and see how things unfold when he finally meets Jones inside the Octagon.
