Jon Jones Says No Steroid User Could Dominate UFC the Way He Did for a Decade

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones took to Twitter and continued on his Twitter rampage against several fighters. Chiefly, his rival Daniel Cormier, caused a stir by certain comments he made on Jones’ legacy and his USADA tussles. ‘Bones’ didn’t take too kindly to those comments and made sure everyone was aware of that fact.

Furthermore, Jones has been using his time to reply to fans on Twitter and clear up any misunderstandings about him.

The consensus GOAT is often in the conversation for steroid use and he oftentimes claps back at his detractors. ‘Bones’ never backs down from any conversation surrounding his past and he uses his platform to share his views.

Jon Jones: Firing on all cylinders

Jones’ recent tweet that went after Cormier has grabbed fan attention and it shows their rivalry is still sizzling. Jon made reference to his bout against ‘DC’ where he was the first to cleanly defeat ‘DC’ in MMA back at UFC 182. His comments came out as part of a thread and he pushed back against the notion that he’s used PEDs.

Additionally, ‘Bones’ also responded to a fan who jokingly spoke about taking banned substances to become the GOAT of MMA. He was quick to point out that those substances wouldn’t have any hand in helping him raise his fight IQ.

The Jackson-Wink standout has made a massive impact as of late by using social media to generate interest around his brand. Fans of the sport gravitate to his confrontational persona, and Jones has leveraged that to his advantage. Moreover, he’s managed to stay in the headlines despite the fact that he hasn’t competed since February. Not to mention, he has no fight booked in the months to come either.

The MMA community is certainly on the look-out when it comes to Jon Jones’ Twitter activity that always makes for entertaining viewing. Jones doesn’t pull his punches by any means and makes sure his point of view is well taken in. Fans of the sport lay in wait to see who becomes the next target of the former champion.
