Jon Jones is one of the most special talents the sport of mixed martial arts has seen. The former UFC 205-pound champion is often regarded as the GOAT by many. Though Jones is a fighter with a high level of skill, he often makes it a point to acknowledge those who reach a similar feat. The same could be seen when ‘Bones’ acknowledged a recent achievement of Amanda Nunes.

At UFC 277, Amanda Nunes put up a dominant performance against Julianna Pena to win back her 135-pound UFC belt. The Lioness was heavily lauded by fans and fighters for the same. Amidst all the appreciation she received, Nunes also found herself on a list full of elite fighters.
Amanda Nunes’ win at UFC 277 placed her on 5th rank in the list of most title wins in the UFC. Only fighters such as Anderson Silva, Demetrious Johnson, Georges St-Pierre, and Jon Jones are ahead of the 135-pound UFC women’s champion.

Jon Jones acknowledged the same via Twitter. The former 205-pound UFC champion appreciated Nunes and welcomes her to an elite club. The fighter with the most title wins wrote, “Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t. Welcome to the club Amanda“.
While Jones is active on Twitter, the fighter has been away from the octagon. His last fight came against Dominick Reyes at UFC 247. During his active run in the UFC, Jones was number 1 on the UFC P4P list. However, that isn’t the case anymore.

A fan on Twitter questioned the fighter. The fan asked Jones if he would reclaim his P4P spot when he returned to fighting. ‘Bones’ had quite an interesting answer to the same.
