Jorge Masvidal is a name that needs no introduction to the fight fans. The boy from Miami has been fighting from a very early stage in his life alongside the late noted bare-knuckle fighter, Kimbo Slice. ‘Gamebred’ has also left his mark on the UFC as one of the most noted Welterweights of all time. He holds the record of the fastest knockout in the history of the UFC to his name. Masvidal had always been interested in other fights around the world and in having a luxurious lifestyle even before becoming the star he is today. He had a knack for breaking out of his scheduled routine and going out to enjoy his life. An old video from his own YouTube channel showcased that he was once caught red-handed by his manager for breaking the rules to go to a late-night party.

Jorge Masvidal lied to his manager even after getting caught by her

A younger Masvidal displayed schoolboy-like behavior after being caught by his manager. He tried to bluff his manager about not being at the nightclub the previous night despite getting caught. His manager stated, Jorge, Jorge. I know where you were last night”. Throughout the entire conversation, Masvidal tried to portray that he had plans of going out and partying, but it eventually didn’t happen.

He replied, “I was gonna go but I’ll tell you,” but was interrupted by his manager who once more tried to prove that he was lying. She said, “Jorge, they called me there. The music was in the background and I heard your voice.”

It was evident the ‘BMF of the UFC‘ was evident shocked at the detective-like discovery of his manager. Still, he continued lying. His manager reminded him of his vision, stating, “What did you tell me? You wanna be the Strikeforce champion. How do you think I’m gonna make that happen when you’re 4 weeks away from the fight and you’re partying till 5 am?”

“Jorge, I can smell the alcohol coming out of your voice.”

At a point, Masvidal even admitted that he took 4 showers to cover up the alcoholic odor. His manager even had the information that Masvidal was chased away from the club. She said, your girlfriend showed up chasing you out of the club”.

Further, his manager also made allegations about him “eating too much”. She iterated, “You gave me a two-day food log of you being on your best behavior”. It was evident from her complaints that she had also found a lot wrong with Masvidal’s food log.

She made one more attempt to correct Masvidal in this regard as well. She said, “You gotta be honest about what you’re eating.” ‘Gambred’ also kept stressing on his point stating, You didn’t tell me what two days. You just told me a food log. I gave you a food log.”

He tried to make a point as he started saying, “I just had a professional. A lady as a professional,” but he was interrupted once again by his manager. She continued Masvidal’s words, stating, “That you’re lying to. So she can’t properly help you if you can’t be honest with her about what you’re eating. Right? Why don’t you just listen to her.”

It was apparent that his manager was desperate to get Masvidal back under a strict routine to help his vision. His success also says that he must have done something right to achieve this fame today.
