Jorge Masvidal Picks A Surprise Winner For UFC 263 Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Brandon Moreno 2

UFC 263 will take place on Saturday, 12 June 2021. The event has several intriguing matchups, and many well-known personalities shared their predictions for the event. One such well-known personality includes the #7 ranked UFC welterweight contender, Jorge Masvidal.

Deiveson Figueiredo will defend his UFC flyweight title for the third time against Brandon Moreno in a rematch. The pair first clashed at UFC 256. Their first bout resulted in a draw which also resulted in Figueiredo retaining his title. 

Masvidal recently made an Instagram post in which he shared his prediction for Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Brandon Moreno 2. ‘Gamebred’ believes that Moreno will be crowned as the new UFC flyweight champion at UFC 263.

Jorge Masvidal shared his pick for two other fights at UFC 263

Nate Diaz will make a comeback after a two-year layoff at UFC 263 against the #3 welterweight contender, Leon Edwards. Diaz is stepping inside the octagon after suffering a TKO (doctor stoppage) loss against Masvidal at UFC 244.

Diaz wasn’t an easy opponent for Masvidal to overcome. However, ‘Gamebred’ secured a TKO victory in the third round. As Masvidal has faced Diaz inside the octagon, he feels comfortable picking Diaz over Edwards as the winner.

A rematch between Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori will headline UFC 263. It will be Adesanya’s third title defense. The pair first clashed at UFC on Fox 29: Poirier vs. Gaethje on 15 April 2018. Their first bout resulted in ‘The Last Style Bender’ winning the fight via split decision.

Masvidal also shared his pick for the main event of UFC 263. ‘Gamebred’ believes that Adesanya will successfully defend his title for the fourth time.
