The Brit posted a mysterious tweet on his official account. He simply wrote “millionaire,” which left many fans and fighters perplexed.

Ahead of their fight, Masvidal appeared in the episode of The MMA Hour and shed light on ‘Rocky’s tweet. He said, “I know that he is getting his biggest paycheck ever, and it’s because of me and the whole time from the start of him calling me out.

“I’ve always said I am going to fight this guy, but when I say the whole time he was saying he wasn’t going to fight me, then I said you know what I’m going to fight you right now, and guess what he is fighting me right now. So as this interview goes down and the words spread and people copying pieces. He does what I say when I say.”

On the other hand, Masvidal, who is on a two-fight skid, will look to bounce back in the win column with a victory over Edwards. A win in this fight will surely cement his position in the division and also fast-track his journey to the UFC welterweight gold.
