Khamzat Chimaev has had eyes on the UFC middleweight belt since the beginning of his UFC career. When Alex Pereira took over the title of middleweight champion, ‘Borz’ went off and kept challenging him on social media. Doubtlessly, the heat was also felt by other fighters, including Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal.

Masvidal is pretty active on his social media. However, it wasn’t a surprise when he voiced his desire to watch Chimaev go against Pereira in the Octagon.

‘Gamebred’ would like the fight between Khamzat Chimaev and Alex Pereira 

Khamzat Chimaev declared his desire to fight the new middleweight UFC champion, Alex Pereira. Following this, Jorge Masvidal recently posted a picture of Chimaev facing Pereira on his Facebook page. He wrote, “This will be a good one!”

In the picture, there was a snip of Chimaev’s tweet where he wrote, “this guy did fight for the belt with a 6-1 record, let me smash him, I have a record 12-0 let’s go brother make it happen @danawhite in Brazil.”

Undeniably, fans have their adrenaline on maximum with the news of ‘Borz’ going against the ‘Poatan’ circling the internet. Even ‘Gamebred’ voiced similar opinions.

After Pereira snatched the UFC middleweight title from Israel Adesanya, Chimaev went on and tweeted that it was his belt. Previously, after the events of UFC 276, Chimaev eyed for a chance to fight Pereira. The ‘Borz’ repeatedly posted his interest in fighting the new champion on social media and indeed caught Pereira’s attention.

During the post-fight interview after the events of UFC 281, a reporter asked for Pereira’s opinion on Chimaev’s callout. Without a doubt, the Brazilian accepted the challenge and claimed that he would fight anybody. He said, “I’ll be ready for anybody. I’ll fight anybody. I’m evolving so much and so fast. I have such a great camp at Teixeira’s. I’ll fight anybody.”

Furthermore, the Chechen-born Swede tweeted, “Ready to fight in Brazil @AlexPereiraUFC let’s go champ.” Although the two have very limited UFC outings, both of their names have begun to hold high value. Nonetheless, a fight between the two would be highly anticipated by the UFC world and fight fans.
