Khamzat Chimaev declared his desire to fight the new middleweight UFC champion, Alex Pereira. Following this, Jorge Masvidal recently posted a picture of Chimaev facing Pereira on his Facebook page. He wrote, “This will be a good one!”

In the picture, there was a snip of Chimaev’s tweet where he wrote, “this guy did fight for the belt with a 6-1 record, let me smash him, I have a record 12-0 let’s go brother make it happen @danawhite in Brazil.”

During the post-fight interview after the events of UFC 281, a reporter asked for Pereira’s opinion on Chimaev’s callout. Without a doubt, the Brazilian accepted the challenge and claimed that he would fight anybody. He said, “I’ll be ready for anybody. I’ll fight anybody. I’m evolving so much and so fast. I have such a great camp at Teixeira’s. I’ll fight anybody.”
