Following a brief period of retirement, the UFC Hall of Famer, Jose Aldo will make his stand against Jonathan Martinez, at UFC 301, in the Farmasi Arena, Rio de Janeiro. His last bout before retirement resulted in a tragic loss against Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 278. He then went to the land of the squared rings and fought Emmanuel Zambrano at Shooto Boxing. ‘Scarface’ went home with yet another victory in his portfolio, defeating Zambrano via unanimous decision.

Coming back into the Octagon, Aldo is, in fact, looking up to a phenomenal victory. Martinez is quite a formidable fighter. In order to claim victory over Martinez, the 37-year-old mixed martial artist needs the fans’ support. But it all starts with the family.

As if waiting for the right moment, Aldo’s wife, Vivianne Pereira, showed her support for the Brazilian, hours before the commencement of the event. Aldo’s significant other shared a picture of the Aldo family on Instagram. Therein, she wrote in the caption, “Us always and forever”, as translated by the social media platform. The message was followed by a bright red heart emoji.

Without a doubt, the love between the fighter and his wife is one of the oldest and strongest kind. Vivianne has often taken to social media to share her good wishes and support for her husband. Married since 2006, many in the continent would have been separated. But it’s not the case with the Aldos.

With immense support and understanding, Vivianne has stood beside ‘Junior’ in almost all of his fights in the Octagon. Surprisingly, she is a brown belt in BJJ. Undeniably, this might be the reason why she supports Aldo with such enthusiasm, while there are many cases where fighters lost their family’s backing. Without a doubt, Aldo is one of the lucky guys to have his family rooting for him.

Of course, this wasn’t the only time Vivianne shared her love for Aldo before a fight.
