The 34-year-old fighter currently holds the BMF title after his win at UFC 291. During a recent encounter with Gilbert Burns on the sidelines of UFC 293 in Sydney, Justin Gaethje showcased his punching strength on a punching machine. Gaethje’s punch not only broke the machine but also shattered the records set by previous heavyweights, including Ciryl Gane, Jon Jones, Joe Rogan, and Alex Pereira.

Several UFC fighters have taken on the punching machine challenge, aiming to test their punching power. Israel Adesanya, the former middleweight champion, set a record with a score of 964.4, surpassing his previous high of 962.1. Conor McGregor achieved a score of 932, while Alex Pereira scored an impressive 969 on a UFC-branded machine. Joe Rogan had a score of 135 and later claimed to have reached 152. Jon Jones fell short of the record and scored 444. Ciryl Gane recently posted a video celebrating his score of 999, beating the previous high score on the punching machine.

Fans dazzled as Gaethje’s breaks the punching machine

As soon as Gilbert Burns uploaded the video on X (formerly Twitter), fans flocked to his post to express their opinions about Justin Gaethje’s powerful punch. Here are some of the comments from fans:
