Snoop Dogg is an extremely popular American rapper who has made UFC appearances in the past. He has even appeared on Dana White’s Contender Series as a guest in 2017. Hence, his connections with UFC fighters are not surprising and his face-time with Justin Gaethje may not have been anything shocking.
Dan Ige tweeted this video of ‘The Highlight’ getting a face time call from Snoop Dogg. He wrote, “Justin Gaethje checking in with uncle Snoop Dogg”

The short video shows Gaethje driving while his UFC 274 training partner, Ige, seemingly receives a face time call from Snoop Dogg. But was it actually the rapper himself? There is no confirmation of that, as Dogg didn’t speak. Hence, many believe either party used the popular Snoop Dogg filter.
It’s great to see the two fighters bond and enjoy while they work towards Gaethje’s next UFC bout.
‘The Highlight’ is preparing for his lightweight title fight against Charles Oliveira at UFC 274. He shared a video titled ‘Road to Gold‘ where he documented the same.
Justin Gaethje will look to win the undisputed title in his second UFC title match at UFC 274
‘The Highlight’ put together a streak of wins against the likes of James Vick, Edson Barboza, and Donald Cerrone. This saw him earn an interim title shot against
Tony Ferguson after Khabib Nurmagomedov withdrew from UFC 249.

At UFC 249, Gaethje ended Ferguson’s 12-fight winning streak as he secured a fifth-round TKO win. He received his first lightweight title (unification) match against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 254.
On Fight Island, ‘The Highlight’ won the first round before submitting to ‘The Eagle’ in the second. However, he rose straight back to contention after he beat Michael Chandler at UFC 268.
