Fans react to Jorge Masvidal wanting to fight Gaethje if he returns

When Masvidal said that he might return to the UFC to fight Gaethje for the undisputed BMF title, the fans didn’t seem to think that it would end well for Masvidal. Gaethje, who is a really dominant and aggressive fighter, is currently competing in the UFC. On the other hand, Masvidal has been away from the promotion for too long.

I’d rather the Askren rematch. Gaethje would send Masvidal to the afterlife.“, stated one fan as another person commented saying, “Lowkey want to see this fight happen lol“. “Usman knocked you out cold and now gaethje will“, commented a fan, reminding Masvidal of the fate he met with when he fought Usman.

Everyone seemed to think that Gaethje might just be too much for Masvidal. “Gaethje dogwalks him IMO“, said one fan. Another fan commented, “Justin kills him“. “Justin would absolutely massacre him“, declared one fan. One fan seemed to think that the fight would have been evenly matched if it had taken place a few years back. “if jorge was in his prime that would be a good one“, he said. Another person seemed to think that Masvidal said it because he actually wanted a fight against former Lightweight champ Conor McGregor and commented saying, “Jorge want that Conor fight so bad“.
