YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul is set to fight former UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, next. Woodley’s former opponent and current 170 lbs champion of the UFC, Kamaru Usman, was also in conversation as Paul’s potential next opponent for a period. But Usman dismissed those chances and explained why a fight against ‘The Problem Child’ made no sense for him.

However, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ has revealed the condition under which he might consider stepping inside the squared ring to take on Paul in a fight. Usman says if Paul is able to get the better of Woodley in their fight, he might consider facing ‘The Problem Child’ in a boxing match.

If Jake Paul is able to get through Tyron Woodley, that now he is in a realm where I can say okay, now, you know, you can make a case for me wanting to step in there and whip your ass. You know, it’s an idea, and people, of course, people start trying to discredit them all, but he lost his last three fights in this nap, or did you see his last 15 before that,” said Usman.

People have been critical about Paul choosing to fight ‘The Chosen One‘ next. Woodley is currently almost 40-years-old, and he hasn’t won a fight in almost 3 years. To add to that, Woodley will make his debut as a boxer against Paul. But Usman believes despite all that, Woodley is still a killer. Obviously, the former champion has the credentials of a legend as well.

It will be interesting to see how Paul fares against a fighter like Woodley, who can actually strike, unlike his other opponents to date. A win can certainly open up to call out bigger current names for ‘The Problem Child‘.
