It’s very rare for a fighter to mock another during a fight. However, it seems ‘Venom’ is a master of it. Not only did he mock ‘Trailblazer’, but also found unique ways of hitting him during the battle. His movement inside the octagon and his uncanny ability to turn attack into defense surprised the 31-year-old fighter. The former welterweight champion said, ” Ya I think it’s great for him as long as he is able to do it and not get put to sleep. He is doing a great job with it and as long as he can do it safely then do it. There was a couple of times it was just bad. Like he would sweep him I think it was the third round or the end of the second round. It got to the point where Kevin Holland was just , I don’t know what to do. And MVP would then clinch up , sweep him throw him on the ground kind of and then just kind of mock him.”

Usman’s point essentially was that all is fine until it isn’t.“You can’t let that happen to you as a professional. But you know it’s ok to do until that one guy hits you gets you caught and it’s game over. Basically I would say it’s a big risk clowning the guy and big reward. Now the risk part we saw when he fought Douglas Lima the first time. And on the reward part you see him clown guys. “, he added.
