Kamaru Usman is without a doubt, one of the best fighters in the history of mixed martial arts. The ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ has proven himself on multiple occasions, and the fact that he stands first in the UFC’s pound for pound category only adds to the case. Usman is one of the most well-rounded fighters in the promotion right now.
As of November 2021, the fighter’s professional record stands at an impressive ratio of 20 wins to one loss. Kamaru Usman has beaten many skilled fighters in the promotion, such as Jorge Masvidal, Tyron Woodley, and Rafael dos Anjos.
Recently, the pound for pound number one’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, took to Twitter to boat about his client. After his win against Nate Diaz, he took on Kamaru Usman at UFC 251, for the UFC Welterweight Championship. However, it was clear that the UFC BMF title was not on the line at UFC 251. Kamaru Usman won the championship fight via a unanimous decision at UFC 251.
What’s next for Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal
Ever since the two faced off at UFC 261, both fighters have taken very different paths. Kamaru Usman has proved himself to be the best in the division.
