Several celebrities have appeared on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ over the years. One such person was famous rapper and music sensation Kanye West. West is known for speaking his mind. Hence, for many fans, his appearance on the podcast was nothing less than a treat.
While both the personalities spoke about several interesting things, the musician shared a revelation about the famous ‘Star Wars’ franchise. This left many viewers in splits. In the context of being self-absorbed, he asked Rogan, “What’s the main character in Star Wars name?”

To this, Joe Rogan replied, “Luke Skywalker”.
West went on to further question him and asked, “Who created Star Wars?”
The Spotify podcaster replied, “George Lucas”.
Rogan then wondered if Lucas actually wrote it. That’s when Kanye West said, “But listen to that last name. George Luke-cas. He is the main character in Star Wars. He kissed his sister.”
Many have speculated whether Lucas named Luke Skywalker after himself. As per an article by ‘Heavy‘, the character’s initial name was Luke Starkiller. However, changing it to Luke Skywalker or Luke S. could make the name easily sound like a stand-in for Lucas.

Saying this, West started laughing and Rogan joined him. Many viewers liked the musician’s personality. Several fans in the comment section also pointed out that the musician looked happy and that he was an interesting person to have a conversation with.
