He recently shared a worrying update about his baby daughter in an emotional confession, which garnered the attention of Conor McGregor. The Irishman decided to extend his support in a message on social media for Schaub.

Brendan Schaub revealed that his daughter is going to get surgery soon

In an emotional and heartfelt confession, former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub revealed that his close friends and family members are aware that his daughter has been going through some medical issues since the day she was born. Now, his daughter is due to undergo another surgery this Thursday, leading him to announce the cancelation of a few of his upcoming shows.

Most of my family and friends know my baby girl has been in and out of the hospital since the day she was born and she is to have an emergency surgery on Thursday. So I have to cancel my tour dates in Nashville and Austin,” said Brendan Schaub in a video he posted on Twitter (X).

The former fighter also mentioned that he will be taking a break from his podcast duties as well. It will be the first time in more than a decade that he will be halting his work for a serious emergency. Nevertheless, Brendan Schaub is hopeful that things will get better for his family and his daughter.

I won’t be having a podcast. Almost a week of podcasting in 12 years. [It’s] pretty serious but… hopefully this all goes well. It’s just a phase you know. So, love you guys,” Schaub added. After Schaub shared this message on social media, former UFC double champ McGregor shared a message for the former UFC fighter and his family.

Conor McGregor prays for Schaub’s daughter’s well-being

‘The Notorious’ is not always notorious. As a family man himself, it clearly felt like Conor McGregor was affected by the news of Brendan Schaub’s daughter’s health condition and decided to put in a few words of encouragement. McGregor urged the 40-year-old to stay strong and believe in his daughter, to have the spirit of a fighter just like him.

“Sending prayers and positive energy your way Brendan! Keep strong she has fighter genes,” commented Conor McGregor on Brendan Schaub’s Twitter (X) post. The former UFC double champion is also a father of four children and seemingly understands the toll it takes on a parent to see their children’s health in a deteriorating state.

Brendan Schaub struggled to articulate his thoughts as he was revealing his daughter’s predicament. Also, he did not mention too many details about the illness that his daughter was going through.
