The UFC is hosting a grappling contest in December this year and Gordon Ryan is one of the names who are joining hands and competing, alongside big names like Georges St-Pierre, Nick Diaz, and more. As Ryan shared a recent clip of him training with a much bigger opponent, he had a few high-profile combat sport figures react to it.

Joe Rogan joins fans in reacting to Gordon Ryan’s ‘grappling’ post on Instagram

The BJJ giant recently posted a video on Instagram where he is seen wrestling and grappling with another athlete, who seems slightly bigger than him in size. The caption of the post read: “6ft 2 215lbs vs 6 ft 4 285 lbs. Win, because you know more, not because you’re more physically imposing, but also.. be physically imposing because strength is never a weakness.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan‘s comment was a mere goat emoji, which suggests that Rogan considered Ryan the GOAT. UFC legend and fan favorite BJ Penn also joined the comment section as he said, “I’m glad you’re here @gordonlovesjiujitsu keeping jiujitsu on top of the world“.

Two fans commented appreciating the video and Gordon Ryan’s skills as a martial artist. “So slick“, said one while another said, “Makes me want to start rolling again“. “Where can we watch this match @gordonlovesjiujitsu?” asked one fan who seemed intrigued by the video while another asked, “When are you competing again?“.

However, not all comments were as amicable. One fan took a jibe at him, alluding to his alleged steroid abuse. “Or take more [syringe emoji]“, read his comment. Another person went berserk as he heavily criticized Ryan by commenting, “Only in American someone like u can be considered an example of sports … fuck*** cheater full of juice.
