When Nasrat Haqparast was mistaken for Kelvin Gastelum on live TV

A rather hilarious incident unfolded when ͏͏Nasrat Haqparast fought against Rafa Garcia on UFC fight Night: Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad. During the fight, a UFC commentator Brendan Fitz mistook Haqparast for Kelvin Gastelum. The incident happened in between the fights that made the entire analyst team laugh. The MMA community is pretty familiar with the resemblance between the fighters, and they don’t blame Fitz for his mistake.

Both Gastelum and Haqparast have joked about the fact that they look like twin brothers. The mistake was later shared by UFC’s social media handle with a caption that said, “Fitz called Nasrat “Gastelum” 😅 #UFCVegas21.” In addition to this, the UFC shared a picture of both of the fighters posing together. The fiasco might have happened back in 2021, but it still reminds us of the crazy resemblance between the fighters.

Well, ͏Nasrat Haqparast is now prepping himself to fight against Gordon and he is expecting nothing less than a war.

͏Nasrat Haqparast added, “At a very young age I gained a lot of experience early on, good and bad circumstances, injuries. I think now I am really getting mature, and I think I’m going to show it in this fight. I’m looking forward to a violent fight. I’m coming for violence this time again.”
