‘Kevin Holland Is Just a Weird Guy’- Marvin Vettori Says Kevin Holland Fight May Not Help Him Against Israel Adesanya

As Marvin Vettori prepares to take on Israel Adesanya at the UFC 263 event. Excitement surrounding the fight is increasing with every passing moment. Fans and critics from all over the world are looking forward to watch this rematch between these two talented fighters.

As the fight draws ever nearer, people have been trying to know everything the fighters have done to prepare for the fight. Recently Adesanya was talking about whether he has learnt anything from his fight against Blachowicz that can help him against Vettori. And now Vettori was asked the same about his fight with Kevin Holland.

‘The Italian Dream’ faced Holland at UFC Vegas 23 and won via unanimous decision. Talking about the fight and what he learned from it, Vettori said. “Man, Kevin Holland is just a weird guy. And he doesn’t play by the rules at all, so it was actually like, yes good you know, orthodox guy with like a very long reach.”

“You know it’s really a very different game than Israel has. But you know still man, I knew going in, I have to stick to the fundamentals. I’m just the superior fighter, I can mix it up better. I have the more complete skill set and there’s nobody that can match that.”

While Vettori does believe Holland is a great fighter, he knows that a fight against Adesanya won’t be the same.

While Vettori might not believe that the fight against Holland will help him against Adesanya. The confidence the fighter gained from the victory is surely going to come in handy in a fight of such magnitude. His victory against Holland was Vettori’s 5th in a row, in fact the fighter last lost in the UFC back in 2018 against none other than Israel Adesanya.
