Kevin Holland has never been the guy to shy away from speaking his mind. He is one of the most popular guys in the UFC, and fans love to watch him fight and talk.
In a recent tweet, Holland announced that left the fight fans stunned. In the tweet, he wrote, “Let’s start the new year off right. Slide in my DMs and I’ll be answering questions today on my subscription FREE only fans page.”

‘Trailblazer’ recently announced that he will move back to the welterweight division, after competing in the middleweight division for a long time. Holland had a memorable 2020, where he fought and won 5 times in the UFC. It is a UFC record for most wins in a calendar year. Entering 2021 on a high, the year didn’t turn out to be great for him. He fought Derek Brunson in the main event of UFC Vegas 22 and got dominated. Brunson regularly took him down and showed his superiority on the mat. Holland lost the fight via a unanimous decision.

Looking to bounce back from the loss, he met Marvin Vettori at UFC Vegas 23 and again got dominated. It was his second defeat in a row. Holland then met Kyle Daukaus at UFC Fight Night 193, but the fight ended in a no-contest. They were booked to go at it again, but the rematch got canceled because of an injury to Holland. ‘Trailblazer‘ then announced his move down to the welterweight division.

Kevin Holland was on a five-fight winning streak before his fight against Derek Brunson. He quickly became a must-see fighter with impressive wins under his belt. However, when he fought Brunson and Vettori, he got out grappled, which led to his defeat.
Everyone soon got to know the weakness of his game. However, it is something that he has been working on since then. He recently posted a video of himself grappling and doing a good job of keeping his position and transitioning between positions nicely. He wrote, “Felt cute. Might delete later. @hayabusacombat.”

‘Trailblazer’ recently also was part of the FURY Pro Grappling 3 along with many notable UFC stars. He took on Kody Hamrah in a submission-only bout. Despite the loss, Holland put on a show and entertained everyone that tuned in. He also held his own and was never in danger of getting submitted. He lost the fight after it went to the judges.
