It appears that ‘The Eagle’, after stepping away from coaching duties, has decided to catch up more often with his family and friends. And one such individual, the former UFC champ considers family, is long-time manager Ali Abdelaziz.

In a fresh post on social media, Abdelaziz revealed how Nurmagomedov flew all the way to Egypt just to meet the manager’s father. As per the 45-year-old, it was all part of a promise made a few years ago by the former champ, which he finally fulfilled. Reacting to this beautiful act by Nurmagomedov, fans, and multiple UFC fighters thronged the comment section showing respect for the Russian for keeping his promise.

The post by Abdelaziz showed his elderly father and Nurmagomedov beside each other, followed by a caption that described how the former fighter actually ended up in Egypt. The caption read:

“Last few years my brother Khabib Nurmagomedov always mentioned he wanted to go see my father so last week he said I’m going to Egypt. I just wanted to thank him for keeping his word and going to Egypt and showing my family love. Love you my brother. You are one of a kind. “

Fans of the now-retired undefeated champ were quick to shower their love on him as usual.
