Former two-division UFC champion, Henry Cejudo, revealed his Mount Rushmore for the GOAT of MMA. ‘The Messenger’ ranked the greatest fighters of all time by his opinion. Surprisingly, former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov didn’t make the cut for the GOAT list of MMA.

‘Triple-C’ didn’t include himself in the list as well. Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, Georges St-Pierre, and Demetrious Johnson are the four to make the cut on Cejudo’s list. “When we talk about goat mountain, Khabib is not a part of the GOAT mountain in combat sports. He’s not a part of I’m not even part of GOAT mountain to be quite honest with you,” said Cejudo in an interview with Helen Yee.

“But even when it comes to combat sports, he’s a part of that mountain. But my take it’s, it’s Demetrious Johnson, Jon Jones. Anderson Silva. GSP,” he added.

The former Olympic gold-medalist also added that he doesn’t care too much about the opinions of fans, even though he likes to entertain them with his cringy personality. Rather, he focuses on what other legends of the sport have to say about things from time to time.

Henry Cejudo makes GOAT mountain of combat sports

Nurmagomedov might not have made Cejudo’s list of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, but he was included in the list of the greatest combat athletes of all time. ‘Triple-C’ made yet another Mount Rushmore where he gave himself the No.1 spot, and the likes of Nurmagomedov, Daniel Cormier, and Fabricio Werdum made the cut.

The interesting fact about Cejudo’s lists is that none of the mentioned fighters compete actively in the UFC at the moment. Silva was let go after his defeat to Uriah Hall. GSP is retired and ‘Mighty Mouse’ currently pursues his trade in One Championship. Jon Jones‘s future is in jeopardy as he and the UFC can’t agree on terms related to payment for his heavyweight debut.

Cejudo is retired, and so are Nurmagomedov and Daniel Cormier. Fabricio Werdum competes in PFL currently and is expected to make his debut there soon. Nevertheless, fans got to know what one of the greatest of all time thinks about other greats.
