In recent times, it seems like UFC’s lightweight division has taken a back seat. In the next UFC PPV’s co-main event, Beneil Dariush and Charles Oliveira are scheduled to face each other in an exciting matchup. The winner of this pivotal bout is likely to earn the opportunity to challenge lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Beneil Dariush, who is known for his humble personality, shared his thoughts on his opponent Charles Oliveira and the upcoming fight.

“Nah, I think we’ll end up on the ground. I think whether he tries to take me down or I try, I think that the attempts will take place. Eventually, if I will hit the ground and we’re gonna see where the tips are gonna fall. I truly believe, in a pure grappling match, I could beat this guy 10 out of 10 times.”
