Despite retiring, Khabib Nurmagomedov continues to create milestones outside of the UFC. The lightweight champion has become the first UFC fighter who can boast of his own collection of limited edition watches. Nurmagomedov has collaborated with Jacob & Co, resulting in four Epic X timepieces, each one having unique elements from the Russian’s fighting career.

Nurmagomedov revealed the details of his partnership with Jacob & Co on his Instagram. The brand boasts of partnering with only the best of the best such as Lionel Messi, Bugatti, Supreme, and now the undefeated mixed martial artist.

The unblemished record of 29-0 is what sets him Nurmagomedov apart from the other greats of the sport. The limited collection of timepieces also features the same record. Apart from this, Nurmagomedov’s nickname, ‘The Eagle’ is also engraved on the inside of the case.

The founder of Jacob & Co. is a big fan of Khabib Nurmagomedov

Khabib Nurmagomedov has an enormous fan base that spreads globally. One such fan is Jacob & Co. founder and chairman Jacob Arabo. The latter is a lover of the fight game and has attended many events in the past years.

“I am a huge fan of Khabib,” Mr. Arabo said. “I have been following his career for a long time, and when his team approached us about working together to create some limited-edition watches, I was very excited. For me, Khabib is the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet and he fits the brand to a ‘T.’ In more ways than one, it’s Khabib’s time.”

Just like Arabo, Nurmagomedov also feels the partnership is a perfect match between the two parties.

“I’m unlike any other fighter today and Jacob & Co. is the same way, different from every other brand,” he said. “We fit perfectly together.”

Nurmagomedov announced his retirement last year after defending his belt for the third time. While he looks adamant about staying away from the sport, UFC President Dana White wishes to bring him back for one more fight. Meanwhile, the Dagestani juggernaut has transitioned to the promotional aspect of the business with the Eagle Fighting Championship.
