Russian Government seizes all the bank accounts of Khabib Nurmagomedov

The Russian media outfit recently reported that the Russian government has put the final nail in the coffin for Khabib Nurmagomedov by seizing all of his bank accounts, not just the ones associated with his businesses, but his personal accounts as well.

The Russian version of the IRS, the Federal Tax Service, started looking into the details of the businesses of Khabib Nurmagomoedov even before he left MMA in 2023 and started his other endeavors. After the FNS examined his businesses, they found certain irregularities and that ended up causing a full investigation of all the financial statements.

The investigation continues regarding the $3.3 million (around 300 million Rubles) tax evasion charges. It has been usual for fans to witness a legend and a professional like ‘The Eagle’ getting embroiled in such a legal situation. However, until the final details of the investigation come out, we cannot make premature assumptions about it.

But what does this mean for his protege Islam Makhachev? Will he be able to have Khabib Nurmagomedov in his corner this year once again?
