‘The Eagle’ is an avid social media user with a knack for other sports as well. He also runs his own YouTube channel. The retired fighter often posts stuff related to the fight game and other sports.
Nurmagomedov is a thorough soccer enthusiast and visits stadiums often to watch high-voltage matches. Recently, ‘The Eagle’ took to Instagram and uploaded a story about the noted French soccer player, ‘Karim Benzema’.
Karim Benzema got Khabib Nurmagomedov delighted
The 34-year-old French star achieved the prestigious ‘Ballon d’Or’ this year, which is awarded to the best soccer player in the span of an entire year. Nurmagomedov was visibly pleased as he uploaded a snap of Benzema with the ‘Ballon d’Or’ trophy on his Instagram story.
It read, “Best player in the world @karimbenzema”. Benzema’s feat also garnered reactions from a number of other sporting starts. Nurmagomedov’s country and teammate, ‘Islam Makachev‘ posted the same snap of Benzema to his Instagram story. He wrote, “You deserved”.
Soccer star and fellow teammate of Benzema, ‘Kylian Mbappe’ also congratulated him by uploading a snap of him on his Instagram story. He also wrote, “Felicitations frerot. Merite!” which translates to, “Congratulations, brother. You deserve it”.

There are multiple videos of Nurmagomedov talking to the greats of the game of soccer. But ‘The Eagle’s’ love for the Red Devils, ‘Manchester United’ knows no bounds. He has gone on to visit ‘Old Trafford’, the famed home stadium of the ‘Red Devils’. Nurmagomedov also visited the dressing room of the United soccer stars and had a fun time with a great of the game, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Nurmagomedov is a currently retired fighter. He is enjoying the stardom he has gained from the sport of MMA. Despite multiple requests to get back to fighting, ‘The Eagle’ has chosen to deny them all. He thinks he’s done with fighting in the cage.

But, Nurmagomedov also corners his fellow countrymate, ‘Islam Makhachev’, and can still be seen in the UFC circuit. This keeps his fans speculating about a return of the former champ.
