Khabib Nurmagomedov Offering to Help Will Smith “Cut Weight” Much Before His Oscars Slap at Chris Rock

Will Smith met Khabib Nurmagomedov a couple of years ago in Dubai’s NAS sports complex, where Khabib Nurmagomedov trains whenever he or one of his teammates, Islam Makhachev, Umar Nurmagomedov, has a fight in the UAE. Nurmagomedov shocked Will Smith with his past rigorous weight-cutting expeditions.

 Being a mixed martial arts enthusiast and having acted in boxing legend Muhammad Ali’s biopic, he flaunts a decent physique for a 53-year-old adult, Smith replied graciously, ‘oh yeah’

‘The Eagle’ recounted his career and said, “In my all professional career I check I cut almost 800 kilos.”Amazed by his statement Smith replied, “That’s crazy”.

The Dagestan fighter went on, adding, “If you need cutting weight, just let me know,”. To which Smith retorted, “I know yeah, yes exactly”

Will Smith’s slapping of Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards after being angered by a joke made about his wife, Jada Pinkett, has elicited reactions from most UFC fighters.

Fans have linked it to Nurmagomedov’s previous Instagram post with Will Smith, garnering the post a million additional likes. ‘The Eagle’ has a large number of Instagram followers (33 million as of February 2022).

Despite his retirement from the sport, the Russian continues to wield significant influence in the mixed martial arts community. While his post-retirement life is filled with more ambitious goals.
