Former UFC lightweight champion and undefeated fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov recalled an event in an interview where he almost fought a guy outside a supermarket.

Khabib Nurmagomedov, the former UFC lightweight champion, is one of the most dominant and vicious fighters the sport has seen. However, as vicious as he may look during the fights, Nurmagomedov is also a very calm and composed guy. Fight fans have even seen ‘The Eagle’ apologizing to his opponents after finishing them in fights.

However, there have also been events where the Russian MMA fighter lost his cool. One such famous incident is when Nurmagomedov jumped at Conor McGregor‘s fighter after defeating him at UFC 229 in 2018.

However, during an interview, the former UFC champion recalled one more moment where he lost his cool and almost smashed a guy physically bigger than him.

In the video, Nurmagomedov said, “Big supermarket, I stand in line and one very big guy, drunk guy. He say hey let’s go why you staying very long in line. And he want almost fight with me.”

“I say be careful, I am a professional fighter. I can smash your face easy. He say you famous fighter like this. I said shut up you need shut up. No touch me.” Nurmagomedov concluded. 

Khabib Nurmagomedov reveals his fan side

Although ‘The Eagle’ has achieved great heights in professional fighting, he is interested in other sports, too. On many occasions, Nurmagomedov has expressed his love for football.

However, Nurmagomedov also enjoys basketball besides MMA and football. And the former UFC champion is a huge fan of the NBA legend, Michael Jordan.

Earlier, Nurmagomedov desired to meet Jordan and kept a bizarre condition to make this happen. In a recent media appearance, the 33-year-old offered three sheep to the American comedian, Bob Menery, in order to meet the NBA legend.

In the video, Nurmagomedov said, “Three sheep. If you make me and Michael Jordan meet, I’m going to give you three sheep.” Recently, he also posted an iconic picture of the NBA legend Jordan from 1991 on his official Twitter showing his love for him.
