Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the best fighters to have graced the Octagon. He has beaten some of the best fighters in the sport during his prime. Some of these names include Conor McGregor, Rafael dos Anjos and Dustin Poirier.

His professional fight record stands at 29 wins and no losses. The Dagestani has absolutely dominated every opponent he’s faced in the octagon. He often attributes his success to his late father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. His father has been his mentor all his life and has shaped him to become the fighter he is today.

After the sad demise of his father, Khabib retired from professional fighting and hasn’t come back to the octagon ever since. In a recent interview, ‘The Eagle’ opened up about his relationship with his father in his childhood.
