Now, as his cousin, Umar Nurmagomedov is set to land against Cory Sandhagen, all the former UFC fighter can do is guide his cousin.

‘The Eagle’ recently took to Instagram stories and sent a cryptic message to his cousin as he prepares for the main event for UFC Fight Night, Nashville. Without a doubt, many expect the ‘Young Eagle’ to dominate the arena, just like his cousin. As if to ensure this, Nurmagomedov showed his brother that he has his support.

The fight between Umar Nurmagomedov and ‘The Sandman’ has been scheduled for 5th August 2023. As the announcement hit the social media platforms, the fans began connecting the Dagestani warrior’s bloodline and skills to that of ‘The Eagle’. 

Soon after the announcement was made, the former UFC champion swooped in to support his brother. He seemingly sent a message for him in his Instagram story, while sharing the poster for the fight. 

Khabib Nurmagomedov tagged his brother and wrote, “@umar_nurmagomedov Step by Step.” Doubtlessly, Nurmagomedov’s message arguably raised his cousin’s spirits.

Umar Nurmagomedov holds an impressive record of 16 wins, 4 of which were in the domain of UFC. Additionally, the fighter is yet to face defeat inside the MMA cage. The bantamweight warrior has taken up the #11 throne in the UFC rankings.

Undeniably, many MMA fans have put their eyes on Nurmagomedov. The fighter has received a multitude of praise for his skills. With his last name, getting the championship belt is apparently one of the most important jobs for him. Nevertheless, as per his history, he has the ability to effortlessly dominate the arena.
