The video that the Russian recently shared showed him grappling with Josh Thomson while Jones stood in the background watching. It was a throwback to the time when the 29-0 record holder was just starting to make a name for himself in the promotion.

Nurmagomedov tagged Thomson and wrote in the caption, “You remember this @therealpunk. It was our birthday 10 years ago”.
