Khabib Nurmagomedov Shuts Down Tony Ferguson’s Verbal Assault With a Swift Reminder

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson don’t seem to get enough of each other.

Two of the greatest lightweights of all time, Nurmagomedov and Ferguson were booked to face each other multiple times. But for one reason or the other, the fight kept the fight didn’t go through. All the MMA community wanted them to face each other at least once, but it never happened. ‘The Eagle’ is now retired from the sport, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be making a comeback.

However, it doesn’t stop his rival, ‘El Cucuy’, from taking shots at him. In the past, Ferguson has trolled and taken digs at Nurmagomedov for missing weight for their fight once. However, Nurmagomedov was quick to respond to the tweet. He replied and reminded Tony Ferguson that he hadn’t won in the UFC since 2019. He wrote, “June 8, 2019.”

Ferguson’s last win against Donald Cerrone at UFC 238. He fought three times in 2021 but ended up on the losing side all three times and has dropped the rankings but is looking to get back to the top in 2022. He is eyeing a fight with one of the biggest names in the division, while there’s a former champion wanting to fight him.

But he expects to beat Ferguson ‘bell-to-bell.’ It is a fight that will excite the fight fans. Both men are fan favorites and are also on a losing streak. However, Rafael dos Anjos is looking to take on Ferguson as well. RDA has been out of action because of an injury.
