Two of the greatest lightweights of all time, Nurmagomedov and Ferguson were booked to face each other multiple times. But for one reason or the other, the fight kept the fight didn’t go through. All the MMA community wanted them to face each other at least once, but it never happened. ‘The Eagle’ is now retired from the sport, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be making a comeback.

However, it doesn’t stop his rival, ‘El Cucuy’, from taking shots at him. In the past, Ferguson has trolled and taken digs at Nurmagomedov for missing weight for their fight once. In his most recent tweet, he called out the former champ for gaining weight and said, Pump Pump It Up!” Pretty Sure Ol’ Fathead Got In His Fix For The Good Stuff. Doesn’t He Know That S—t Will Go Straight To His Hips? Fwaah-Nah-Nahhhh So Fat He Had To Make A New Weight Class *mack.* What A Maroon. Go Showty -CSO- # BOGOBISH’ Current Mude.”

Michael Chandler wants a fight against Conor McGregor. While responding to a fan who said that he would like McGregor and Chandler to go at it next. To which the former interim UFC lightweight champion, Tony Ferguson responded.

He said, “There’s My Bitch!!! @MikeChandlerMMA The Brass @danawhite @ufc Relayed Your Message Saying You Would Be Ready For Me April/June. Looks Like Your Trying To Delay That Ass-Whoopin’ I Owe Ya For Cutting In Line Kid- It’s Wrestling Season MF, Man Up- Champ.”

But he expects to beat Ferguson ‘bell-to-bell.’ It is a fight that will excite the fight fans. Both men are fan favorites and are also on a losing streak. However, Rafael dos Anjos is looking to take on Ferguson as well. RDA has been out of action because of an injury.
