No commentator is perfect, and Joe Rogan has proved that even he can fail every once in a while. With numerous pronunciations and spellings, names can roll off the tongue or get lost, to be honest at times. Khabib Nurmagomedov has told Rogan to pay heed to Umar Nurmagomedov, as he is a problem.
All in friendly banter, The Eagle took to his Instagram after his cousin’s fight during UFC 272, when the UFC commentator absolutely butchered the Russian’s name in an honest mistake.

Umar and Khabib Nurmagomedov: The Apple does not fall far from the tree
Although the duo is not siblings, it seems as though all the Dagestani fighters who once trained under Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov share a hive mind when it comes to dominance in the octagon.
Umar and Khabib Nurmagomedov are both known for their dominance and unbeaten streaks in the UFC. Umar Nurmagomedov is relatively new to the UFC and still has a long way to go before becoming a champion as great as ‘The Eagle’, but in all surety, he will be able to become a champion sooner than later.

The quality and dominance that the Russians depict in the octagon seem unparalleled. With the lightweight G.O.A.T. now taking up the role of a coach, he seems to have stepped into the shoes of the late Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, coaching and helping his fellow fighters to UFC gold.

What’s next for the Dagestani fighter?
After a dominant performance against Brian Kelleher at UFC 272, Umar Nurmagomedov’s future in the UFC can take an exciting turn from here on out. What’s important to note is that the Dagestani usually fights at bantamweight. With that being said, the featherweight division is not as deep as the 135 lbs roster.

In order for him to shine, the UFC might take some aggressive experimenting approaches. This is in reference to making some stylistic matchups for Nurmagomedov next.
Either a slow build or a fast build depends entirely on how well Umar Nurmagomedov builds a media rapport. This is in order to gain some notoriety in terms of his personality.
