However, the latest revelations from ‘The Eagle’s teammate prove that he is not as serious a figure as many think. Fight fans consider Khabib Nurmagomedov as one of the greatest fighters in the world. The MMA community often considers Nurmagomedov a figure who leads a highly disciplined life. Even UFC commentator Joe Rogan has praised Nurmagomedov for being a highly disciplined fighter who goes through brutal training sessions. However, the recent words of Belal Muhammad show that Nurmagomedov has a playful side that is not known to the MMA community. Belal Muhammad was talking on The Mid Show. During the conversation, he was asked about his experience training with Khabib Nurmagomedov. ‘Remember The Name’ responded, “Honestly, he’s [Khabib Nurmagomedov] like the funniest guy…You’re like chilling and a lot of those guys in that group don’t even speak English, so when I’m in that group, he’s the only one talking to me. So it’s just funny to see how he is because… people expect it to be a certain way…and he’s like the funniest guy.

The welterweight star’s words would have surprised fight fans, as many believe that Nurmagomedov is a serious fighter. Nurmagomedov’s fanbase grew immensely when he won against the former UFC double champion, Conor McGregor. The duo faced each other at the much-anticipated UFC 229, where ‘The Eagle’ destroyed McGregor. Their bout broke all the PPV records in the history of the promotion. From then on, many consider Nurmagomedov as a terrific fighter who established total dominance against his opponent inside the octagon.

‘The Eagle’ shuts down Conor McGregor

Even though Conor McGregor could never defeat Khabib Nurmagomedov inside the UFC octagon, he has always tried to weaken the latter with his trash talks. However, ‘The Eagle’ recently proved that even if McGregor tried his best, he would never be able to weaken him using his words. A few days back, the Dagestani fighter sat down for a candid conversation with Patrick Bet-David. During the chat, David asked about how he handled the harsh words he received from ‘The Notorious.

As a reply to the question, Nurmagomedov said, “I like to listen to people when they talk. It’s very interesting because you can listen to them and you can understand where is their IQ.According to the UFC Hall of Famer, the Irishman is someone who has no control over his tongue.
