Mike Perry has been picking fights with almost anyone and everyone on Twitter of late. The welterweight fighter has been all over the news lately. For his last fight against Mickey Gall, he decided to not have any coaches in his corner. The only person in his corner was his girlfriend. Though it is not normal by any means, it worked for Perry as he was able to secure a win.
For his next fight, ‘Platinum‘ has decided to have an auction with the highest bidder earning the right to corner him against Robbie Lawler. UFC fighters, Companies, and NFL athletes have all expressed interest in cornering the fighter. However, it remains to be seen who will join him in his corner for the upcoming fight.

Mike Perry finds a new target in Khabib Nurmagomedov
Mike Perry shared on his Instagram a video of an argument between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson. This occurred at the UFC 249 press conference. The caption said, “(Khabib Nurmagomedov) won’t ask me this question”

The video showed Tony and Khabib going back and forth at each other. ‘El Cucuy’ said, “He’s never been in a street fight. Never actually been thrown into a trash can or any sh*t like that.”
An infuriated Nurmagomedov replied, “Hey, hey sunglasses. In streetfight I can eat you, you understand? Who are you? You never fight in street. You American guy. In America, you can not fight in street. I’m from real mountain. I can eat you in street fight. What are you talking about?…. When you fight in street tell me?”

The welterweight fighter is leagues apart from Nurmagomedov in the UFC. Hence, it seems as though he is poking fun at himself with a caption claiming that ‘The Eagle’ would not ask him the same question.
Perry is now set to fight the former welterweight champion, Robbie Lawler, at UFC 255, in Las Vegas. However, ‘Ruthless’ is on a four-fight skid. Stylistically, the bout promises to be an exciting one with big implications on the welterweight rankings. Given ‘Platinum’s’ social media activity and bold statements, he will be under pressure to win the fight in order to back his antics.
