UFC is taking things up a notch with its fight cards for the first quarter of 2021 with some amazing bouts. Previously, the promotion announced a light heavyweight bout for 12th March. And recently, UFC added one more fight to an event for March 2022. The UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov’s cousin Umar Nurmagomedov will be back in action. He will take on another undefeated fighter, Jack Shore, inside the cage in a bantamweight bout on 19th March.

The promotion is yet to make an official announcement about the fight, place, and venue. However, Alex Behunin of Cageside Press announced the news on his official Twitter account.

Behunin wrote in the caption, Per sources, Jack Shore will fight Umar Nurmagomedov on March 19! Someone’s 0 has to go.

Umar Nurmagomedov made his UFC debut in January this year. He is currently fresh from his submission win over Sergey Morozov and will look to do the same against Shore.

On the other hand, Jack Shore, from Wales, made his UFC debut in 2019 and is undefeated. He will look to extend his winning streak with a win in this bout.

Both the bantamweight combatants are undefeated in their careers. Hence, it is an important fight for both men, as a win in this fight will carry their streak and also cement their position in the division.

Umar Nurmagomedov vs Jack Shore- Brief comparison

Fighting out of Chelyabinsk, Russia Umar Nurmagomedov has an amazing professional record of 13-0 to his name. He has six submissions and one knockout win on his MMA resume. After finishing his opponent in the second round in his UFC debut, the Russian took a long hiatus from the octagon due to a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Welsh bantamweight fighter Jack Shore also has an impressive professional fighting record of 15-0 to his name. He has four knockouts and eight submission wins under his belt. Two out of his four UFC wins have come via submission.

It is one tough fight. Shore is a former champion at his previous promotion, Cage Warriors. He has gained much experience in the UFC and has won two fights this year. Even though Umar showcased amazing dominance in his UFC bout, Shore might be one tough opponent for him, as he was away from fighting.

This fight will garner a lot of attention from fight fans, as they will see one of them lose their undefeated fighting record.
