Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor fight is the most watched fight in the history of UFC. With bad blood between the fighters before the fight, ‘The Eagle’ made it clear that their fight would be the end of McGregor’s legacy in the UFC. At Nevada’s T-Mobile arena, Nurmagomedov took revenge by clinching the victory over McGregor at UFC 229. However, this was not enough for the ‘Eagle’. After the victory, the Dagestani fighter leaped towards McGregor’s corner to give Dillon Danis a taste of his own medicine, as Danis had also been involved in banter against Nurmagomedov. Amidst this hubbub, a phone call was waiting for the Dagestani in the dressing room.

On the other side of the phone call, it was Russian President Vladimir Putin who was watching Nurmagomedov fight. Putin had called to congratulate the Russian sensation after his tremendous run against Conor McGregor which resulted in a submission victory as McGregor tapped out.

White in a recent outing with Games With Names dropped a bombshell, as he revealed, “He didn’t even make it back to his dressing room after the fight, and Putin was on the phone. Putin gave him and his father, like, $20 million worth of property in Russia. Then he went into the Muslim territories where these guys are like, cars, money, gyms, whatever he wanted.”

The sudden revelation by White after years took the fans by surprise.

Starting off, a fan stated that he was rooting for McGregor at first but he is glad Nurmagomedov won.

“I was rooting for Connor but I knew khabib was the better man at that time.. he still is today but that just opinion. But khabib represented his people and with class. Glad he won in the end though. It’s unfortunate they both had to be so extreme to elevate the game. In the end that fight was good vs evil and good won.”

Furthermore, McGregor accused Khabib Nurmagomedov of taking money from the Russian authorities and a fan doubled down on this comment and asserted that ‘Notorious was right.

“Rumors are just rumors. No one just gives a person $20 million did khabib show his bank statement proving he received 20 million. Gossip is the worst of all evil”
