Recently Nurmagomedov’s manager delivered Charles Oliveira an ultimatum to fight in October for the title against Makhachev.

Ali Abdelaziz is the manager of star athletes such as Khabib Nurmagomedov, Kamaru Usman, and Justin Gaethje. With the lightweight title up for grabs, Abdelaziz issued a bold ultimatum to Oliveira to fight his client and #4 contender Islam Makhachev.

Abdelaziz wrote on Twitter, “If Charles Oliveira Not ready to fight in October, very simple the division doesn’t have a champion @MAKHACHEVMMA vs. @beneildariush Charles can fight the winner the he deserve a rest respect.” Here, Abdelaziz says that if Oliveira declines the fight in October, then Makhachev should fight against #6 contender Beneil Dariush. And Oliveira can fight the winner of this bout.

Abdelaziz also quote tweeted the tweet and wrote, “Ufc not going to it for anyone they are going to move on I overplayed my hand couple times, and I learn what to do now.”

The Revenge Arc of Charles Oliveira
Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira had a very rough start to his UFC career. He joined the promotion back in 2010 and had a slow start to his journey. Oliveira secured only ten wins and lost eight times between 2010 and 2017. Most of these losses were against top contenders, so Oliveira was unable to rise to the top. But after 2017, Oliveira’s career took a turn for the better.

Do Bronx produced an impressive record of 11-0 in the next four years, guiding him to the UFC title. A big reason for this transformation was Oliveira’s daughter. In a recent interview with ‘SHAK MMA,’ Oliveira gave full credit to this transformation to his daughter’s birth. Her birth motivated him to give her a better life by earning more money, and winning was the only way to do that.
