The Revenge Arc of Charles Oliveira

Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira had a very rough start to his UFC career. He joined the promotion back in 2010 and had a slow start to his journey. Oliveira secured only ten wins and lost eight times between 2010 and 2017. Most of these losses were against top contenders, so Oliveira was unable to rise to the top. But after 2017, Oliveira’s career took a turn for the better.

Do Bronx produced an impressive record of 11-0 in the next four years, guiding him to the UFC title. A big reason for this transformation was Oliveira’s daughter. In a recent interview with ‘SHAK MMA,’ Oliveira gave full credit to this transformation to his daughter’s birth. Her birth motivated him to give her a better life by earning more money, and winning was the only way to do that.
